My dearest and beloved friend, Barbara, how do I put a lifetime of happy memories into one small space.

At 11 and 12, both erstwhile playwrights at the Grammar School!?! we decided to collaborate and you became my cherished friend. We were always together, giggling at everything, learning about life and sharing our adolescent dreams. As young adults we loved and supported each other through the lonely times and celebrated the good. Every happy event in my life was brighter because you were there. The difficult times were easier because you understood. At times your kindness to us overwhelmed me. Everyone you met became a friend. You made a difference to so many lives and we are all better people for knowing you.
